Stunning paint work Dave and a great color choice for the Mustang.
On this side, work on the boat continues as I am doing my final body work on the hull.
I had to do something with this large cavern at the tail of the boat as I deleted the jet propulsion concept.
After filling the void with about 10 mm of scrap plastic I used Milliput white (super-fine) epoxy putty. I also used Milliput on the seam where I joined the upper to lower hull.
This is the first time I used the white super-fine Milliput (I usually use the green version). I found that as you put it down it is much more "gummier", but dries just as hard and is much easier to sand.

Wow, that looks great Chris. The white really shows off the lines much better so you see the flow.

After wrestling with the paint, time for some decals. Using one of the new AMT/Round 2 sheets.
A boat needs a trailer ... here is the start of mine.
The frame made from "H" Beam plastic stock with rectangular cross beams is together. After thinking about the boat supports, I went with a solid piece cut to the shape of the hull to hold it up. Not 100% accurate, but for the purpose of not having the boat sitting on the shelf it will get the job done.
Had to come up with a propeller. I don't have any boat parts in my parts box so I repurposed two matching engine fans and 30's era headlights.
