some progress
for a 'new' airfix kit it has its good and bad points
not impressed with how the parts are connected to the sprue.......very large and easy to damage the part when cleaning up..........the tolerances seem very tight..........a few bits ive had to trim to get to fit......including the wing roots cos i have attached the wings after i took this pic

sorry to say but this is back in the box
its a sort of frustration crossed with mojo loss
im struggling with masking....and i hate masking at the best of times.............struggling with paint, especially the white undersides
so its gone back in the box...........but it might get rehashed as a whiff which wont involve grey or white paint!!...........got an idea for an Indian Navy or Bundesmarine since i have some decals to suit.....................but i need a break from planes and floaty things
