1977 Trans Am Empty 1977 Trans Am

Done, other than the door mirrors which are just WRONG.  Mostly OOTB, the usual wiring, booster and a filler panel in front of the radiator.
Added the cold air intake trunking. After I'd gone to the effort to drill out the snorkel.

A crude old kit, no cats on the exhaust, the engine is too far forward. The Monogram version is better, but given the limitations of the kit, it's turned out alright. IMHO.

Nothing wrong with that mate, it's lovely.

Is it MPC or AMT?

Dog of a kit or not, you have certainly made a silk purse out of it. (Yes I know I'm mixing metaphors! lol! )

Paint is gorgeous as is the decal work.

Well done Chris.

Repopped recently.

Old Skule kit, mind you they were all like that when I was a kid and I still like them for the subject matter.

First part of the video shows how old it is compared to the modern stuff and what a good job Chris made out of it.

I've seen a few of his videos, and I'm always yelling at the screen "sand the seams down" !!
