BAC Strikemaster
Thu Dec 10, 2020 8:19 pm
time for a wingy thing, need something simple to do
got given this kit for nothing a while back.......its pretty old and the decals are well knackered, but i have an FCM decal sheet for latin american stuff which includes a Ecudorian Jaguar, and should suit this, since they flew Strikemasters at the same period
will hopefully end up something like this,.....

Al, I'm not sure about buying a 60 year old ex-RAF jet. If it broke down it's not as easy as pulling over to the side of the road if you know what i mean.
Paul, I love these old Airfix kits. I remember when I was at school a friend brought one of these to show in the classroom. Might have been the Provost version.

It's looking good Paul.
Next time you mask, spray clear first then the colour. That way any bleed will only be the clear.

If you get any bleed under the canopy, I've used a dedicated plastic polish to remove it. I use BMF to mask the actual demarcation area, then tape to fill in the centre.
