That's miles better than the Merc Mitch.
Those old Gasser kits are a pain in the backside to build up well, I have a few of them, so I know.
Excellent result and kit bashing, that Johan 427 OHC is so much better than the one in the amt 33 Willys.
If you have build pics I'd love to see them.
The doors and flip front seem to work well on this kit, or was it a nightmare? I've never had this one, but I'm interested now.

Cool YouTube Shay. That's why mine has wheelie bars.
Lol, I'm not sure what you remember Al. This one (along with the Dart, Mustang GTP, and Merc SLR) is brand new. I did all four while recovering from knee replacement surgery last month.

The nose hinges needed a little reworking because the engine I used is a fuzz taller than the kit one. Doors and steering fit and worked well.
I haven't been taking any pictures while I'm building. So no wip photos I'm afraid.

I assume it's Model King repop of an older kit?
Pity there's no WIP Mitch.
Knee replacement isn't exactly a walk in the park, how are you getting on?

Great job on a difficult kit. From brittle plastic to door/hood/body alignment nightmares you really pulled this off! Great kit-bashing on a stunning build.

Great build of a very tricky kit. Nicely done and very believable.
