Rotary tool
Sun Apr 12, 2020 4:04 pm
I bought a new rotary tool about six months or so ago now and I'm now in a position to review it.
This is the item and where I bought it from:
http://www.rapidonline.com/tools-equipment/mb160-mini-tool-drill-with-chuck-85-8245
You also need the power supply:
http://www.rapidonline.com/tools-equipment/maxicraft-variable-speed-transformer-30621
My criteria when I was looking to upgrade from a cheapie version were:
1: It had to fit neatly in the hand.
2: It had to have variable speed.
3: It had to have plenty of torque so as to be able to hog out arches on a body etc. (Something the cheapies don't have)
4: It had to be affordable.
5: It had to be good quality.
6: It had to have a proper chuck and not those stupid changeable 'collets'
This one ticked all the boxes and I can highly recommend it.
