1964 Mini Cooper Paddy Hopkirks Monte Winner

Nothing to show yet apart from some Revell photos and a photo of the engine bay of the real deal:







How could Revell get those HT leads so far out of scale?

Haven't forgotten about this one. Just been busy cleaning up parts (160 of them) in the background. Now ready for primer/paint and assembly.

All of the parts are now painted so assembly can commence.
Here is the body in my usual 2k gloss coat.

Getting back to this one now and been plugging away at the engine. It's now finished and installed in the chassis.

I have added HT leads for plugs and coil, (made from craft wire) brake and clutch hudraulic pipes from the master cylinders, (made from some fine copper wire) windscreen washer bottle tubes (made from clear fishing line) and oil cooler hoses (made from fine silicone tube)

I also lost the kit electrical control box so had to make a new one in three layers of styrene. I also wired it too with three wire. (Again from craft wire)

160 parts for that itty bitty car? WOW, Nice work on the paint
